Kindle Fire HD
Kindle Fire HD
Price £159
Pros: This is the most expensive Kindle currently in Amazon's range, so as you would expect, the tech is cutting edge. It comes in either 16GB or 32GB versions, has a 1.2 Ghz dual-core processor, dual antenna dual Wi-Fi, Dolby audio, an anti-glare colour screen and a one month trial of Amazon's partner company, Lovefilm.
Cons: Did we mention this is the most expensive Kindle? Also, the battery life is still an issue, although it manages to perform a little better than the standard Kindle Fire with 11 hours life compared to 9. Still, if you're going somewhere, you're going to need to take your charger along.
Ideal for: People for whom money is no object. Those whose gadgets absolutely have to have all the bells and whistles.
Suggested eBooks: The Kindle Fire HD isn't just about eBooks - it's trying to be a multimedia device and Amazon has launched its first very own game to go with it. Called Living Classics, as the title suggests, it brings to life classic books like Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz and King Arthur in a 'moving object' game. Similar to the popular hidden object game genre, in this game you don't have a list of objects to find, but to spot the ones that move sporadically.

This article fails in so many ways....
2GB holds a lot of books.
You list the Kindle Fire HD at being the most expensive Kindle when it is in fact the Kindle Paperwhite 3G which you correctly identify as £169.
You don't list the fact the keyboard has 3G as a pro, it also has twice the storage space of the Paperwhite or basic.
The picture is wrong for the Paperwhite - the light guide is part of the screen not a pull out light.
If you're not going to do it right why bother at all?
All in all and absolutely terrible article, it might help if the author had even a tiny bit of knowledge about ebooks!
Poor!
