Price Around £86 refurbished from Amazon Warehouse Deals
Pros: Older versions of technology instantly drop substantially in price once the latest iteration comes out, and for those willing to hunt for them, you could well bag yourself a bargain.
Cons: They're now no longer available online at the official Kindle store, so you'll probably need to buy one second-hand or refurbished, which means there's likely to be no warranty. The page turning speed is noticeably slow compared to the new basic and Paperwhite models.
Ideal for: Bargain hunters, and those who just want a solid e-reader and don't care too much if it comes with the absolute latest tech.
Suggested eBooks: You don't run with the crowd, do you? So why not try out some of the independent eBook sites for some gems from unknown authors like Lulu, Smashwords and Free eBooks.net.

This article fails in so many ways....
2GB holds a lot of books.
You list the Kindle Fire HD at being the most expensive Kindle when it is in fact the Kindle Paperwhite 3G which you correctly identify as £169.
You don't list the fact the keyboard has 3G as a pro, it also has twice the storage space of the Paperwhite or basic.
The picture is wrong for the Paperwhite - the light guide is part of the screen not a pull out light.
If you're not going to do it right why bother at all?

What a terrible article, half of the pictures are of the wrong kindle. It has completely missed the point of an E-ink screen and most of the pros and cons are completely wrong! 2GB of storage is huge for ebook, several thousand books!
All in all and absolutely terrible article, it might help if the author had even a tiny bit of knowledge about ebooks!
