Sony Ericsson grabbed all the headlines when it announced the PlayStation-friendly Xperia Play, but the company has also been showing off another smartphone at MWC.
The Xperia Neo has a four-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (powered by the Sony Mobile Bravia Engine for improved clarity), a fully featured eight-megapixel rear-mounted camera and runs Android 2.3.
I currently have the SE Xperia and the phones ok, nice features etc but omg the battery is shockingly bad! Monday night I charged my phone from about 1900hrs until 0800hrs the next morning, I sent about 5 texts yesterday and made 3 phone calls, lasting a total of about 15mins, i read news on line via wi-fi for 10mins....my alarm didn't go off this morning because my battery had died - less then 24hrs after a 13hrs charge!! What's the point in having all these singing and dancing phones when you got to have it plugged into the mains 18hrs a day?
All of these iphone clones look the same. Boring. I agree with thislejay, calls and texts will do. Give me a decent clamshell phone any day.
I was on HTC for two models before I switched back to SE. I wish I'd stuck with HTC, at least they seem to want to support their existing customers.
Don't buy SE people, you will regret it...
