FIFA has shown that football is entirely enjoyable on a handheld, but it doesn't have the mobile space all to itself. Real Football 2012 has a strong community element, where playing games earns coins to unlock more prestigious tournaments and enhance a team and stadium to impress friends online. You'll also find little bits of trivia dotted around, the latest football news via goal.com and the chance to replay games you've just watched on TV. Though it's not as slick as FIFA in terms of gameplay, this one offers plenty of depth and, most importantly, is free.

stupid zombies was boring and a waist to be honest. doesn't even come close to angry birds, not only that the accuracy of where you place your finger is off so ruins the game, anyway. for a different spice of life try these.
GTA 3 - yes they really did put GTA3 on a mobile phone.
Mass effect - infiltrator 3rd person shooter set in the mass effect universe and done very well, with decent controls - my only gripe was it was a tad short.
SoulCalibur - All though only available for the 4 and the 4s on iphone (not sure about android / windows so cant comment) almost all the trimmings of the console game on a mobile
Code Runner - if you like walking and want to make it interesting while being out and about, there really is nothing like being part of your very own bourne conspiracy, very unique game and one not to be missed.
Aliens vs humans - slimmed down x-com ufo defence clone, graphics are not really up to much, but its forgiven with the sense of nostalgia and excellent control system, they really should just bring X-Com out for smart phones period.
Final fantasy 3 - in-depth story, loveable characters, basically a direct port from back in the day and well worth your money.
Shadow gun - Gears of war clone for smart phones, great game play, great graphics awesome game.
Virtual city - another very well conceived game for smart phones, take control of industry's though set levels with different goals to achieve, very addictive.
DoomRPG - doom need i say more?
I understand that not all these type of games will appeal to everyone, but when ever i see smart phone games advertised its always the simple ones that get mentioned over the decent ones.
