1. When two graphic design students from Kingston University were presented with their final year photography project, they decided to really get stuck in... quite literally.
Luke Evans and Josh Lake swallowed 35mm film to see the effect their digestive systems would have on it.

Their doctors told them not to worry as they would put them in the picture and it is no good being negative about it. Just wait and see how things develop.

That's a pretty dangerous thing to do. Lots of nasty chemicals involved in the manufacturing of 35mm film.

Regardless of anything else, I think these images are pretty cool. Yes, anyone could have done it but the fact is no one did before so fair play to these guys, it may not be very complex but the images they've produced are pretty interesting
bet you needed polaroid cream after that

Ben, what did I start exactly? I merely commented on this article with my take on it just like everybody else did. Have you any comment on the article or do you just want to belittle me for speaking the truth as I see it. If seeing truth where others fail makes me enlightened why should I be criticised for it? The world would be a far better place if people weren't so easily lead by this kind of bullsh1t. Anything else?

I have to admit its an amazing set of images the 3D effect of the images is amazing the depth and texture is something I have only seen in an electron scan before or a deep space image, I am no art lover or fan but I am impressed top marks

3 I never said this wasn't art, you clearly didn't read or understand my initial post correctly. yes it's art, but it's BS propaganda art made with lies.
4 If you think an image of a guy touching film with his tongue is evidence of that film being swallowed then passing through his body simply because there's microscope photos at the end then you're a gullible fool.
5 I doubt you even understand art and what art is... read my first post. Being different doesn't define art!

To me true art is creation and self expression...look at nature ,nothing can surpass it , weather you belive it was a product of an intelligent superior being or not you can't deny it's beauty...I must confess that it was original and I admire the students for their desire to stand out and be different ....however it may encourage others to replicate thisprocess with devistating results....also please actually read carefully what dave dave writes as it has come from a point of inteligence , and has been thought through rather than simple minded reactions....We ''are'' being dumbed down by the media and the people in power want us to become their mindless slaves , You are all owned by ''SYSTEM''....because you allow them to take away your power :

Dave Dave, other than the picture on the right looking like an 'X' I think your full of it. No matter how I look at the pictures 'SEX' does not come to mind. Well not because of the pictures anyway. Unless its one of those pictures where I have to cross my eyes to see it.
Personally I think its kind of inventive. Might not be the first people to do it but hats off to them for doing something for their project that grabbed some attention. I think your judging these guys in the wrong context. It was a final year university project. They wanted to do something that would put them aside from the rest of their class. Not the rest of the artistic world. A lot better than some garbage I've seen trying to pass itself off as art though.
