This is a very solid camera for the price. Fifty quid gets you a 10MP sensor, 3x optical zoom and a bunch of extra features such as image stabilisation, face detection and a panoramic shooting mode. It takes AA batteries, so you don't have to worry about lugging a charger round with you.
