Dell's entry into the Ultrabook market is at the lower end, offering a 'budget' model that should cost around £899 when it debuts in the UK in March. Lift the pewter-coloured aluminium lid and you'll find black dominates, but despite its subdued looks this feels robust for travel, a fact backed up by its toughened Gorilla Glass display. The keyboard should appeal, but a lack of expansion ports (no HDMI or memory card slot) might prove to be a deal breaker.
