We hunt out the best tech deals on the web right now on all of this year's hottest devices
Where: Chiba, Japan
When: 1-5 October 2013
What: CEATEC (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies) is the Japanese equivalent of CES and takes place at the Makuhari Messe. It's nowhere near as big (or indeed relevant) as CES or IFA but the show often throws up some surprises from major Japanese manufacturers such as Sony, Panasonic and Toshiba. In recent years there has also been a notable shift to emphasis on eco-tech, a trend that we hope to see grow this year.
Likely launches: Japan is well ahead of the UHD curve and we wouldn't be surprised to see Sharp, Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic and the gang unleashing some killer new 4K TVs.
