Bing helps a parachute veteran achieve a dream
Fancy a spot of yeti stalking? Or perhaps you'd like to start smaller - such as learning to cook. Whatever your dreams are, big or little, Bing is offering the chance to make them come true. All you have to do is tell Bing what you would love to do for a chance of winning that exact prize.
That's what happened to 66-year-old Philip Hull who wrote to Bing to ask them if he could do a parachute jump. Being an ex-paratrooper, he was keen to get back up to the skies to prove to his friends he could still do it! Bing thought the idea was so great that they took him to Hinton Airfield in Northamptonshire to parachute with the Red Devils.

Explaining his reason behind the idea Philip said: "It probably started originally in my local pub with the lads when I told them that I'd been in the parachute regiment. They wouldn't believe me; they said there was no way I would jump out of an aircraft," he said.

Bing
"I thought it would be nice to do one last parachute jump to prove that I did, and I still can."
Originally, Philip was only meant to do the one jump, but he loved it so much he did it three times. His grand-daughter, who was there on the day, said: "He must be mental...I wouldn't dare do that!'"
