A number of tablets have attempted to challenge the dominance of the iPad 2 this year. But after launching in blaze of hype and breathless press releases, most have ended up on 'Manager's Discount' shelf with frightening speed. A latecomer to the field, the Sony Tablet S is different - not least in terms of its wedge-shaped design. And that 9.4-inch display and Tegra 2 processor should impress even the most fanatical of Apple fanboys.

Samsung have pitted this Android touch screen media squarely against the iPod Touch
ehh, why would Samsung pit a mobile phone against a non-phone product? Surely your referring too the iPhone and not iTouch? Considering it's only been around for about six months and has sold 35 million units up too Christmas and beat the iPhone 4s in the much coveted T3 award this year, I'd hardly say it's been overlooked.
