Facebook: what happened?
A recent survey by the American Customer Satisfaction Index indicated that only 61 per cent of Facebook users are satisfied with the social network.
After a slew of newsworthy fake pages, one of its earliest backers pulling out, lower than expected financial results, questionable new apps and most recently a lawsuit - we take a look back at a turbulent few months and ask has our beloved social network reached a plateau. Is the writing on the wall for Facebook?

Facebook, just like Twitter and all the other ones are just a huge crowd of nosy, no-good d1ckheads who need to feel 'wanted' by all and sundry. What a crock of sh1te. Get outside and meet people if you want to feel part of the crowd. I can't see how anyone with a working brain would want to sit at a monitor, feeling good because their 'likes' just rose by one. Utterly stupid.......

FACEBOOK is rubbish now. It used to be good then it went downhill, especially since introducing that timeline rubbish( mind you i have deactivated my timeline) .
People tend to be nosey about what others are up to on Facebook and mostly get jealous when they see other friends happy in relationships, having babies etc... Also people hardly say a word to each other when they bump into each other in town, clubs, bars etc so why would they want to be friends on Facebook? It baffles me.

than a spying operation.
Tracking every single thing you do, and comment you
make, and then selling every part of that data to both

Ive just deactivated my account on FB as I found out a few of my friends work with my work colleague's spouse's and therefore I am at risk of my personal life leaking into my professional one... which is very dangerous :/
No matter what people say, Everyone who uses FB doesnt even know half of their so called ''friends'' on it anyway... they just add poeple randomly or add causual acquaintances they meet on a night out ... so by the by they are not real friends!
Poeple want to feel popular, and thats why FB is so addictive to these people.. We're all approval junkies, always wanting to feel accpeted.. its pathetic..

STOPPED USING IT WHEN IT GOT TOO BIG.
ITS THE SAME WITH EVERYTHING-A GOOD IDEA-THEN EVERYONE GOES MAD.
EXAMPLES;CELEBRITY CHEFS/BIG BROTHER/X FACTOR.
I AM NOT SAD OR ALONE.
HOWEVER I DO KNOW HOW TO WRITE A LETTER-WITHOUT SPELLCHECK,AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE ONLY ABOUT 5 REALLY GOOD FRIENDS-I HAVE AT LEAST MET THEM!
I KEEP ALL THERE DETAILS,MOBILE NUMBER,ADDRESS AND BIRTHDAYS,AND YES WE MEET UP.
I DONT HAVE TO TWEET# ANY OF THEM BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO KNOW WHAT I DID A FEW MINUTES AGO.

Facebook is a sad comment on all that is wrong with our society today. Unfortunately, if it goes down it will only be replaced by something else equally tacky. I am old enough to remember the days before the internet and while life was not perfect, it was considerably better than it is now. I TALKED to my friends, by going to their houses usually as we didn't have a telephone. My personal details and identity were perfectly safe and were not regarded as a source of income by everyone from the government to the Mafia.

facebook is utter crap!. its as unsociable as you can get and causes so many problems for people in the real world. People wont believe anything unless its posted on facebook, and it seems to be the source of all 'facts'..it must be true..it was on facebook.
For me personally, I have an 18 week old nephew that I am still yet to hear about, but, because it was posted on facebook, that apparently counts for telling family of the addition....do me a favour, shut this crap down and start actually socialising. It makes me wonder what people find to talk about anymore, when al you have to do is open up facebook and see every little bodly function that person has performed that day.
Its taken so much out of society these days, i cant remember that last time someone actually told me a joke without starting it 'oh, i saw this on facebook...i'll repost it' (text messaging also killed joke telling off too) c'mon people! wake up!!

I hope it is in trouble. I find it incredibly intrusive and annoying. It prevents people from really meeting face-to-face and actually really communicating. the amount of requests for `friends` from people I get that I don`t even know and they never explain themselves.
Then there`s the whole just being incredibly nosey into someone`s life aspect without even asking. I also hate how everything from my computer to my mobile to TV tries to hook me into the giant nosey spiderweb of facebook. I feel I have no privacy. Sometimes I yearn for the quiet of the 1980s! If it dies a horrible death, I won`t miss it.
Hopefully, we will go back to good old fashioned making friends.

Stop using facebook, I'm sick of government spying. I'm sick of corrupt government, politicians, banking systems etc. Boycott Monsantos products, on the one hand they produce agent orange, then they got their hands on our food. Most of our food has poisons in it, vaccines have mercury. Monsanto is testing the 'terminator' seeds in Harpenden, Beds. Some of our farmers are being charged for protesting. They are walking all over us, folks!

Time to close all networks down , fb , twitter and my space all cause a lot of bother and strife, we don't need it, try using ya phone or e-mail sad if you have to use this to tell folk you have had a coffee or a crap like who cares,
And its used to abuse folks to the exteme , shut it down , its already out of hand with insults to recently grieved families

its great to communicate with others and stay in touch especially around the world but we need to get off our butts and talk face to face have a coffee, go the pub socialise.

facebook is too nosey and all the apps want your email address and the time line feature sucks why didnt they leave the profile pages as they used to be before all this timeline started and tired of all of the adverts
