The WWW, 25 years on - we look at the people who have shaped it
Kickstarter isn’t all video games, forgotten TV shows and miniature curiosities… it’s also a hotbed for revolutionary new technology too. Take a look at The Dash – the world’s first wireless, smart, in ear headphones.
How does it work? The wearer can listen to their music either via the onboard 4GB storage or through a Bluetooth connection to their smart device. The Dash is also tricked out with sensors that track pace, distance, heart rate, oxygen saturation and total energy spent, there’s even an embedded ear bone microphone for those wishing to use it as a headset.
Funding is open until 31 March 2014, but at the time of writing it had already achieved its goal with 1018% funded. Well done chaps.
