What to do with your digital photos
Globalgig Hotspot
This standalone dongle works in the UK, America and Australia and offers cheap top up prices. The device costs £79 and 1GB of data, likely to be more than your current smartphone allowance, costs £15, rising to £35 for 5GB. The travel benefits are obvious and if you’re planning to use mobile data in America, the monthly fee will save you a shocking £7,911 based on 1GB of data from Orange (EE) which charges £8 per megabyte of data.
The price tag is so competitive, it may also be cheaper than paying for hotel Wi-Fi fees when abroad. The technology is made possible by Globalgig partnering with networks in the UK, America and Australia and it’s one of the best kept secrets in the world of mobile internet dongles.
Key features: Works in three countries, pay as you go
Perfect for: The traveling business person
Price: £79 and then £15 for 1GB of data, £25 for 3GB and £35 for 5GB

What a waste of time this article was, firstly is starts off by stating the obvious and then goes on to say let's look at the latest mobile dongles..........then nothing.
Thought they might have a comparison chart, or at least a rating for the dongles being used.
A real let down
I have to use a dongle on my home computer as the land line here will not carry a signal.
I use a 3 connect unlimited .
Works ok sometimes a bit slow in bad weather.
No problems have been using it for 1 1/2 years.
Was on t mobile for a time that was very slow and was always losing signal
Hang on, you're saying that it's cheaper to take out a second contract to get a dongle than to pay the extra £2 or so to get unlimited data?
I have the E173 dongle for my laptop and its very good its also on O2 and I find that its value for money and rarely lets me down i did have the E3163 dongle but that one did let me down so thats why i now use the EI73
