Topping many a gamer's "most anticipated" list this year is Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to 2007's phenomenally successful Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
The new single-player campaign takes place some years after the original, with locations ranging from snowy mountains in Kazakhstan to a Brazilian shanty town. The celebrated online multiplayer action has been tweaked with, among other things, customisable kill streaks. Co-operative play, meanwhile, appears for the first time in the shape of standalone Special Ops missions.
