That power comes from the latest i7 quad-core processors at speeds of up to 2.7GHz, though there are Turbo Boosts to increase this further. Beyond that there's a discrete graphics card. You can squeeze a lot of memory into the slim chassis, too - as much as 16GB of RAM and lots of storage. In fact, you could stick up to a 768GB flash drive in, though you might want to keep a beady eye on the price as it creeps up with all this extra oomph.

Apple explains that all this power means you can play four uncompressed 1080p HD video streams on screen at the same time. Which is pretty amazing. What is less clear is to how you can watch such a thing without developing a migraine, but it's the thought that counts.
