Microsoft recently released a major update to the Xbox 360 dashboard - the new experience brings a huge range of on-demand video content from around 40 providers to your living room.

MSN has now arrived on Xbox 360 where it sits alongside amazing free and paid content from the likes of SKY, Channel 4, Channel 5, LOVEFILM, Zune and YouTube.

What's in the MSN app?

The MSN app for Xbox presents the same exclusive and original content as found on the new-look MSN. Watch the latest news and sport, the best new music videos, movie trailers and celebrity interviews.

If that's not enough you can also enjoy 1,000 hours of classic British TV shows - featuring favourites such as Top Gear, Skins, How to Look Good Naked and Bottom.

We've made it easy for you to find what you want; video is split into four main channels; news, entertainment, lifestyle and classic TV shows.

In every section of the app you'll also find a 'most watched' tab. This shows you what other people are watching across MSN - whether it be on mobile, the web or on Xbox.

Voice and motion controls

With the MSN app, YOU are the controller.

If you own an Xbox 360 console with Kinect - use your voice or hand gestures to choose what you want to watch; pause, rewind and skip to the next clip, or search through episodes of 1,000 hours of great British TV.

Don't worry - you can still control the app with the standard Xbox 360 controller too.

How do I get it?

To access the service an Xbox 360 Gold membership is required. Your console should automatically download the latest Xbox dashboard update.

You can add MSN to your Xbox 360 dashboard by downloading a free app from the 'Apps Marketplace'. The marketplace can be found on the new 'apps' screen.

You can control the MSN app using a standard controller or media remote. To use motion gestures you will need an Xbox 360 console with Kinect.
