Delete junk emails
If you want to delete emails from your inbox you can select the 'Delete all from...' option instead. On the next screen click 'Delete all' to have Hotmail retroactively remove all junk mail from that sender.
Note the option 'Also block future messages'; this will instruct Hotmail to automatically delete subsequent emails from that sender.

I get rid of what I don't want by marking them as "Junk", when they first arrive from an address from which I don't want such rubbish. That does the trick thereafter.

I keep hitting the block button, but the trash still keeps coming in. What am I doing wrong.
I dont know how to contact microsoft.

I'd like to nuke these #'x**$% "Accident claim " companies that bombard everyone with soliciting junk mail - Not everyone has their " Greed and lets try -it on " mentality !

I f you hover your mouse over the "sender" part of the message, you will find they keep changing the senders address, so you can't block just one site, all you do is alert the sender that you really exist! The easiest option? Do nothing but allow them all to go to spam, where they will be automatically deleted, and don't get uptite about it because we all get them, just never EVER click on a link or open any of these messages. Doing so will certainly put a virus such as a keylogger on your PC.

DO NOT ADD THESE JUNK ADDRESSES TO YOUR BLOCK SENDERS AS IT JUST ALERTS THE SCAMMERS THAT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IS ACTIVE.. as Ian said dont get uptight if the mails are going into your junk box (which they will do if you mark them as junk) just delete your junk messages every so often ..you only have to click in the box at the top of your junk mails and it will delete the whole lot in one go.
Never ever open a junk mail or respond to it in any way !
Just simply DELETE.

i keep getting e-mails from banks saying they have blocked my online accounts & to click on there link. 1st dont do internet banking never have. 2nd dont even bank with the 1s trying to contact me. 3rd keep reporting them blocked them but still getting them what do i do now. already reported them to bank safe online but still happening sometimes 3-4 times a day really fed up now.

I am not happy and I want to have my hotmail back I do not like outlook, you can not force me to have it. I have the right to choose what I want.

I have the same problem as Diane.I'm really fed up with all the trash which keeps coming back grrrrrrrr.
