Messenger: Getting started
Making first contact
If it's your first time signing in, then (and there's no delicate way of putting this) you'll have no friends to talk to. But it's easy to get some.
Under Welcome to Messenger, click Add a contact. In the space provided, enter a friend's email address, then click Next. If they're a good friend you'll be talking to a lot, tick the box labelled Make this person a favorite, then click Next.
