Aspiring singer gets spotted
Last year, I unexpectedly received an e-mail to my Hotmail account from two award-winning UK record producers, who had heard my daughter's songs on her Myspace page.

They were so impressed with her sound that they asked her to record and release a pop/dance track and video, and also perform at stadium gigs in Europe to crowds of up to 100,000.

AJay Mac was described by the two producers as having the same raw talent as Joss Stone and Leona Lewis. She later made it to the third and final pre-audition for the X-Factor, but unfortunately didn't make it through this round.

The internet has opened up the world to singers like AJay, and if it wasn't for Hotmail we wouldn't have the opportunity to connect with the movers and shakers of the music industry.
