Friendship turns into something more
Mark and I were friends at sixth form for two years, but our friendship never blossomed into anything more. We both moved away after we finished our exams, but kept in touch through Hotmail and stayed as friends. Well, that is until one Sunday night when we were swapping e-mails and somehow, suddenly, we managed to say what we had never been able to say in person.

We both found the courage from somewhere and revealed our true feelings over Hotmail. After that we became more than friends and a cross-country relationship began. The weeks were held together by lots of love letters sent through Hotmail, which kept us sane until we got to see each other at the weekend.

Two years ago Mark proposed and last year we tied the knot. He still sends me love e-mails when he is away with work and we both say that without Hotmail we would never have been brave enough to tell each other how we felt.
