New e-mail address rekindles romance
After I graduated from college, I decided it was time to commence my new e-mail life. I needed an e-mail address I could use to look for a job, take care of all my important "life admin" and keep in touch with friends and family, so I opened up a Hotmail account.

To make sure my friends knew about my new e-mail address I sent a note to my entire existing address book, even friends I didn't speak with much anymore- just in case. Without my knowledge, two of my old high school friends saw each other listed as recipients in the To list and started rekindling an old flame through e-mail.

They dated for several years and just recently got married! When I found out I was to stand as a bridesmaid for two old friends who were reacquainted through my change of e-mail address, I couldn't help but laugh. It's great that one e-mail can bring two people back together and create such a happy story!
