Try utilizing the 'bcc' field (blind carbon copy) as not to compromise the privacy of your contact list and reveal your friends identity to strangers.

Also make doubly sure you don’t reveal any confidential information to people you shouldn’t. Often those who should know better continuously fall into the trap of gossip mongering. It is never a good idea to get embroiled in revealing intimate details of who you might have kissed last night - you can never be too sure of who's reading!
