Hotmail and Internet Explorer 9

By pinning Hotmail to your taskbar in Windows 7 you can take advantage of Hotmail's Jump List and receive a notification when you have new mail.

Right click on the Hotmail icon to choose from a number of different actions; compose a new message, view your contacts, see your calendar or go direct to your Hotmail inbox. The Hotmail icon will also alert you to any new email messages by showing a count of unopened mail.
