Microsoft removes Windows Phone app Marketplace from Zune
If you fired Zune up this morning only to be greeted with the mysterious 'Features have changed' message, don't panic - the changes are small and unlikely to affect you.

According to the Windows Phone blog Microsoft has made a couple of changes to the Marketplace: "First, we're removing the option to shop for Windows Phone apps from the Zune PC software. Second, as part of a larger Marketplace improvement effort, you'll soon need Windows Phone 7.5 installed on your phone to buy and download new apps, or update existing ones."
The move makes sense as most Windows Phone users already buy and trial apps through their handset. There's also the online Marketplace (found at http://www.windowsphone.com/marketplace) where you can do the same on any PC or Mac with an internet connection.
You will still need to use Zune to install Windows Phone software updates and to sync photos and videos stored on your handset.
What do I have to do?
Just restart your Zune software when you see the 'Features have changed' message. You can then use Zune as normal.
