Microsoft's Surface is a family of tablets designed to run Windows 8 - the eagerly awaited device marks the Seattle tech giant's first steps into the tablet market and puts them in direct competition with the likes of Apple and Google.
Following the unveiling of the new Microsoft Surface tablets earlier this year, Carphone Warehouse predicted the first Windows 8 tablet will ignite the burgeoning tablet market - Microsoft Surface "will trigger new tablet race". Judging by the waves made when the first Surface TV ad debuted on Twitter, it would seem interest has piqued, with 'The Surface Movement' standing at 665,699 views in little under 24 hours.
What's more, the UK Microsoft Store is now taking preorders - with delivery stated for 26 October to arrive by 30 October. Surface pricing starts at an affordable £399...
