Has Apple lived up to its own hype with its new flagship device?
Nokia Lumia 610 - the most affordable Windows Phone to-date?
The Nokia Lumia 610 is being touted as the best value smartphone to have come out of Finland to-date.
Its 256MB of onboard memory puts it just behind the mid-range Lumia 710, powerful Lumia 800 and newly released Lumia 900.
The Nokia Lumia 610 sports a 3.7" glass touch screen, and has a resolution of 480x800 pixels. On the rear you will find a 5MP camera equipped with a LED flash. You will also spy a 3.5mm headphone socket and micro-USB port along the phone's top edge.
The Lumia 610 shows off a clean and curvy modern design with faux-metallic edges. It is available in a selection of four different colours: white, black, cyan and magenta. Interestingly the black and magenta variations feature a rugged, rubberised back instead of the glossy design found on the white and cyan models.
Button-wise volume, screen lock and camera are all catered for. Like all phones in the Nokia Lumia range - the 610 takes a micro-SIM, so if you're using an existing SIM you'll need to get it cut down first.
Because the Nokia Lumia 610 is aimed at the budget market, the phone itself is limited to 256MB RAM (memory). Other Lumia handsets come with a more modest 512MB.
