We've all fallen prey to those dodgy emails promising "prizes". Such emails are nothing more than crafty devices designed to do nothing more than to obtain your precious email address.
By using two email accounts you can reserve a "clean" email address for your private life, whilst a universal one will take care of the rest. This way you can more effectively limit the amount of chaff (spam) arriving in your inbox. You may find it works best to use an email package that allows mulitiple user IDs and addresses so there's no tiresome logging-in and out - use Windows Live Mail or get a Hotmail account to manange and use more than one email address.
