Customisation is the key to Messenger's versatility. There are a couple of tweaks that enable you to quickly and easily change the look of your chat windows.
To use: Right-click on your name. Select the Personalise Messenger option (indicated by a small paintbrush icon). Here you can opt to either change your picture or change your Messenger theme.
