Apple's iPhone 5 has gone on sale around the world - attracting the now-traditional huge queues, with iPhone fans camping outside Apple Stores across the globe in an attempt to be among the first to get their hands on the new device.
According to analysts, Apple are expected to sell around 10million of the iPhone 5 in the opening weekend - more than any other previous iPhone.
However, the launch of the iPhone 5 has not gone entirely smoothly. The new Maps app - which replaces Google Maps, a feature of every previous iPhone - has been widely criticised and mocked since the software became available for older iPhone models two days ago. The Maps, created by Apple themselves based on data from companies such as sat-nav firm TomTom, have been mocked for having innacurate and out-of-date information, a lack of detail, and sometimes misplacing entire towns.

i don't understand... its just a phone. they'll spend 600 quid and enjoy it thoroughly for about a week, then the shine will ware away until it feels like any other phone they've owned in the past. then in a couple of months rumours of the next iPhone will emerge and they'll all be gearing up to waste another 600 quid...

cant believe people would que for days to get their hands on a phone which has hardly changed since the last time they cued up to part with £500. There are better things in life to do, surely?

Remarks are very offensive. They are waiting as in other places. But why they are idiots. The company should be sued.
I have S4 bought in London only few months ago. Now I am in PATTAYA,Thailand and had some problem so I took it to Central Shopping Mall and met this sales man and said to him when u are free I like to talk to you. He said wait and I waited half hour then he started serving other person behind me. I chellanged him and he said NO.NO.NO.NO. NOW FOR THE SAME ITEM IN THIRD WORLD, SERVICE IS THIRD CLASS. HOW DO YOU JUSTYFY. THEY SHOULD SHUT THE STORE.
