Unless you're wielding a smartphone with Nokia's Pureview technology built inside it, you wouldn't normally associate your mobile with stop-in-your-tracks photography. That's not to say there's no exceptions to this rule, but without a fancy DSLR, image stabilization, a flash-gun or studio lights, the origin of your photos is pretty clear.

We've gathered together a series of images that have all been taken and processed on a run-of-the-mill iPhone. All of the images are part of the iPhoneogaphy collection - and if you feel inspired by what you've seen here why not submit your own and appear on MSN UK?Send us your smartphone photos - email MSNUKTech@Outlook.com, along with a description and your @Twitter alias.

In this first picture we observe a couple at London's South Bank Centre.
