Nokia and Microsoft launch new handset

Nokia and Microsoft will announce the details of their innovative collaboration today.

Two new Windows Lumia handsets are set to be unveiled in New York today.

The new Nokia/Microsoft phone will include a newly designed Start Screen, dual core processors and Windows 8 programming.

Details of the conference have been kept strictly under wraps but rumours have been circulating about a potential tablet launch, as well as the integration of wireless charging and Nokia's market-leading Pure View technology.

There has been no official word from Nokia on this yet, only a short teaser video, which was released last month featuring the words 'Things are about to change'.
