Song Pop stays at top of charts

The hit app Song Pop tops the free iPhone and iPad charts for a second week.

In the iPhone paid chart the free messaging system WhatsApp Messenger remained in poll position. The app allows cross-platform mobile messaging that lets people exchange messages without having to pay for SMS.

The game Temple Run: Brave continued to ride high in both paid charts - it is a new themed version of the already popular Temple Run game to tie in with the Scotland-set film.

The racing game Asphalt 7: was new in at the top of the paid for iPad chart.
