Has Apple lived up to its own hype with its new flagship device?
Workout app muscles its way to top
The Adrian James 6 Pack Abs Workout has topped the paid iPhone app chart
The perfect physiques on display at the Olympic Games have inspired a fitness-themed app to storm to the top of the charts this week.
The Adrian James 6 Pack Abs Workout has topped the paid iPhone app chart with its comprehensive range of abdominal floor exercises.
The workout app includes training routines used by professional fitness model Adrian James, with videos, audio instructions and exercise tips to help users perform each exercise correctly.
With London 2012 well under way, Olympic-themed apps fared well across the charts.
The BBC's app dedicated to the Games topped the free iPhone chart, while the official Olympic results app from organisers Locog came first in the free iPad chart.
Meanwhile, a game based on last year's Hugh Jackman film Real Steel achieved top spot in the paid iPad chart.
The game, from makers Jump Games, allows players to fight as robots in no-holds barred battles.
It beat The Dark Knight Rises app, a game inspired by the final film of Christopher Nolan's acclaimed Batman trilogy, into second place.
