Facebook phone in the works

Vodafone
An official Facebook phone is an item of tech folklore. Sure, devices such as the HTC ChaCha and the Vodafone 555 Blue have featured dedicated Facebook buttons and received endorsement from the social network, but we're still waiting for the day that Zuck takes to the stage, Jobs-style, and pulls 'the Facebook phone' out of his pocket.
That wait could be coming to an end of reports of an official HTC-made Facebook phone prove correct however.
Unwired View is reporting that a 4.3-inch, 720p HD, Android handset "pre-loaded, such as a new version of the Facebook app, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram, among others" is in the works, and could be landing in "the spring".
It's not know yet if this HTC handset will be just another smartphone with Facebook features to add to the pile, or the official Facebook phone that we're all waiting for. We're hoping for the latter.
